The crocodile, to me, represents ancient wisdom. Many myths include them as the dangerous villains lurking below murky waters, below the visible line of the familiar. I correlate the ability of the crocodile to ‘drag to the depths’ with the psychological notion of bringing. one to one’s hidden core, thus revealing our innermost fears to ourselves. The crocodile is another animal with prehistoric roots. Despite its terrifying power and stealth abilities above water, seeing a side view of a crocodile’s body floating at an angle, paddling with its front arms nonchalantly, paint a sweeter image of an otherwise emblematic creature.
