The bird encapsulates many species, and consequently many symbols. From messengers and bringers of peace to regenerative creatures and bringers of life, the bird represents positive mythological figures to me. Another dimension that matters to me here has to do with the bird itself as a creature closely linked to its prehistoric roots. Though smaller in size nowadays, many birds bring a direct closeness to the origin of life on earth.
