Continuing to use a darker tone on lighter tone technique, and superimposing fictional shapes. Mixing in shapes that evoke a utilitarian use with fantastical shapes that evoke storytelling. Taking inspiration from the jackal, this Totem departs from figurative representation by placing eyes and ears at opposites, much in line with Native American jackal symbolism as that of the trickster, leading to cunning discernment.
